Beeper

Key Insight

● Beeper - Probably the best tool I’ve discovered in the last few years. Consolidates all chats from all apps into one app. Before Beeper it was chaos; I had to check 10 different apps to see where I chatted with someone and whether I replied to everyone. With Beeper I can check all chats in one place and more importantly I don’t go into various apps that try to distract me and keep me longer (and they work). The second benefit is I can archive chats and get to “chat inbox 0,” so there’s no chance I forget to respond to a message (absolute Nirvana if you ask me). ○ A trap you can fall into (happened to me) is when you scan messages and look at the last few messages in that chat and see there’s nothing left to do, so you archive that chat, but there was something earlier in the messages. I currently have no solution for this.
